Johnny`s Drive Inn and Diner in Winston

We dined inside, it has a nice retro atmosphere and is very car centric. Cute place, indeed. Traffic is high outside, but if you dine inside it's not crowded at allI ordered a special with fries and drink. My fiance and I had to go to the window to order although I had noticed others had their oder taken while seated. Our drinks took longer than usual to arrive but they are large for their price.The food came shortly after, hot and fresh.The portions are large and the food is filling.All in all a good visit, good pricing and a nice atmosphere.

Pulled in not knowing what to expect and was greeted by great service, great prices and great food. Our party had the BLT, a Hamburger, the childrens Dino bites, and also a Fish Trio. All were generous, tasty, and very inexpensive. The fish trio, which came with 3 portions of fish, a lot of clam strips, a lot of popcorn shrimp and fries....all for less then 12 dollars, was especially noteworthy. I have paid 25 bucks for such a meal in a restaurant and recieved smaller portions of much less tasty food. Would highly recommend.

Good quality has gotten worse, never the same whenever I order chocolate it tastes like vanilla.

Best burger joint in town! I was a big fan of the...other one....in Winston until the ownership changed and their quality and service took a dive while their prices went up.. I recommend Johnny's hands down..

Stopped for bite when while we were passing through. Wife said, pull in there. I ordered the Pontiac and wow what a nice single burger. Toasted sesame bun, mayo, mustard, tomato, lettuce and krinkle fries with dipping sauce. Wife had fish and chips. They were delicious. Nice and crispy, hot and tasty without being greasy. Came with basic tartar sauce. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come again. The staff was very nice.

The food was amazing. The wait was not. It took not only legitimately 20 minutes for someone to come to the car.It took over 50 minutes to get the burger and fries. I'm pretty sure it was an hour but I'm not sure so.Anyway yup

Great, classic burger. I drive from roseburg a few times a month just to get my fix. The owner knew my order after a few times going. Love the food, and the owner is a very nice.

So my fiance and I chose to go to Johnny's after deciding not to go to Dairy Queen. Neither of us had ever been here before. The atmosphere is quite nice, it has a old school car theme to the point the burgers are even named after cars. The service wasn't great but wasn't super slow either. Our drinks took some time to get to us but a short time after our drinks arrived so did our food. My burger was delicious, Cadillac burger for me, but my fries lacked flavor and needed extra salt. Overall I leave Johnny's full and satisfied.

Great food, big portions, friendly service. All the burgers are great. Spicy Hubcaps or Sparkplugs appetizers are excellent addition. Shakes and malts are top-notch.

The service was amazing. We went inside to eat and had a large group, the staff was superb! The diner is very neat, all the old cars displayed along the walls. The menu was the coolest with sandwich and sides being cars or parts! Their ice cream is amazing!!! We stopped back by after we left the Safari drive thru to grab shakes and cones. The cotton candy ice cream cone was delicious! Our whole group was very pleased!

The food is great. The service is great. The place looks right out of the late 50's or 60's. It's a fun place to go. They have an incredibly long list of offered ice cream flavors that are delicious in any form.

Great hamburgers 😋 I love there Pedal car. Just the right size. They even grill their buns, so good. Their french fries are always fresh. Their ice cream and shakes are delicious Customer service is outstanding. Price is very reasonable. They make you feel like you want to come back and eat their delicious food. Root beer ice cream floats yummy 👍Yesterday, i met to new customers from Portland Oregon. I asked them how their food was and they said it was delicious. They said that they were very happy that they stopped there to eat.

Stopped to eat before going to Wildlife Safari. The most amazing burgers ever!! Fresh, hot, huge, and so yummy!! Would come back again in a heartbeat!!
